Suzanne Alexander

Suzanne retired from work as a clinical physician in 2006 to tend to her growing family. In 2014, after the children moved out and a few dogs, donkeys and horses moved in, she started Torque Companies, named after a family dog, Torque, and immediately hired her husband Randy.

At Torque Companies, Suzanne serves as President and Senior Financial Manager.

Torque

Born in the hills of Kentucky, Torque exhibited natural birding skills as a mere pup, possessing a keen ability to point and gently retrieve. But Torque had higher aspirations. Leaving his fifteen siblings and his bird-hunting days behind, Torque bravely traveled to Wisconsin with the Alexander family, where he became the mascot and C.C.O. (Chief Compassion Officer) at Torque Companies. Torque adapted his pointing and retrieving skills to the office setting, pointing out tension and raucous behavior, and bringing back those whose minds may have wandered. He thus helped the team stay focused and relaxed. Inspired by Torque’s achievement, two of his siblings and one of his cousins have taken similar roles in the Alexander family. When not running in the fields with his canine family, Torque could usually be found quietly studying the work environment from his doggie bed in the corner of Torque Companies office.
